About

This Hurricane hotel puts you about 20 minutes from Zion's main entrance without the Springdale price tag. The property offers straightforward accommodations with double beds, free continental breakfast, and seasonal outdoor amenities including a pool and hot tub that families appreciate after long hiking days.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with three pillows per bed (a nice touch for budget lodging). Free parking takes one worry off your plate, and the breakfast gets you fueled up before heading into the park. The building shows its age but undergoes ongoing renovations to keep things fresh.

Hurricane gives you easy access to Zion while staying in a less touristy town with local restaurants and services nearby. You're also positioned well for day trips to other southern Utah attractions like Snow Canyon State Park or the drive toward Bryce Canyon. The welcoming front desk staff helps set a friendly tone from check-in.

For families looking to balance cost with convenience, this spot delivers the basics done right. You'll spend your money on park adventures instead of premium lodging, then come back to a comfortable bed and that hot tub.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was immaculate, well stocked, and it showed that they put care in making sure the next customer had a good experience. The guy that gave me the room, had top notch hospitality, and customer service. He was all around a professional and awesome dude. The location was absolutely convenient. It fit perfectly to what was needed for me at the time. Overall I'd say this location deserves a five-star rating. With professional friendly service, and immaculate rooms, I would definitely return when in hurricane next.

Econo Lodge in Hurricane, Utah is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Zion National Park or exploring nearby attractions. The property is very well maintained, clean, and has a pleasant atmosphere overall. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the hotel feels welcoming whether you’re traveling solo or with family. The location is very convenient — just a short drive to Zion’s main entrance — making it an excellent base for early morning hikes or day trips. One of the highlights of the stay was the continental breakfast, which was surprisingly good for the price point and helped start the day right before heading out to the park. The place also offers plenty of parking, which is a big advantage in this area, especially during busy seasons. Considering the cleanliness, amenities, and location, the pricing is very reasonable and provides great value for budget-conscious travelers. Overall, Econo Lodge in Hurricane is a solid choice for anyone visiting Zion or the surrounding region. Clean rooms, good breakfast, lots of parking, and easy access to the national park make it worth recommending.

After spending eight weeks on the road in hot, dusty weather, this hotel felt like pure luxury! At only $46 per night for a three-night stay, the value is unbeatable. While the property is a bit older, the simple room was incredibly clean. They provide great basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bar soap, and plenty of ice. The free breakfast was a huge plus—they have waffles, but I really appreciated the healthier options like oatmeal and apples. As a bonus, there is a beautiful, shady city park with nice green grass right nearby, next to the Pizza Hut and Little Caesars. It is the perfect budget-friendly base camp. I would definitely stay here again!

Ugh 10/10 would recommend!! Aldo (front desk guy) is SOO so incredibly kind and was so beyond helpful. I’ve been homeless the past few weeks and aldo has helped me get discounts on the room, made sure when I got back from work my room was clean, he always greeted me with love, him and his adorable family run the place. His wife and son are both so kind. The room was cozy, food was good, the pool was definitely cold but still a nice place to lay out. I will 10000% be coming back here. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone!!!

We stayed here for memorial weekend. There was an up charge due to the holiday. We were charged more than double the normal rate. I don’t feel the price we paid was worth what we got. The room was dusty, the sheets were dirty, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed, there was dried pee on the toilet and the room smelt really musty. When we went to management they gave us sheets to change the sheets and told us they will send the cleaners the next day. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience they said no.
