This 9-hole course carves through St. George's signature red rock landscape, offering some of the most photogenic golf in southern Utah. The front three holes are particularly striking, with fairways that wind between towering sandstone formations. You'll use every club in your bag on the varied terrain, and the well-maintained greens add just enough challenge with their rolling contours.
The course stays walkable throughout, making it perfect for a quick round without the cart fees. Rock hazards add an interesting twist (and occasionally send balls flying in unexpected directions). The pace stays relaxed, and you can typically finish in under three hours.
What sets Dixie Red Hills apart is the value. While other St. George courses command premium prices, this one delivers beautiful desert golf at reasonable rates. The pro shop staff keeps things friendly and low-key, and the course conditions stay consistently good.
It's about 45 minutes from Zion's main entrance, making it a nice addition to a southern Utah trip. After days of hiking red rock canyons, swinging through them offers a completely different perspective on the same stunning geology.

Red Hills is a fun nine hole city course. It's currently in great shape. Play tends to be just a little slow as it appeals to beginners, but the course of fun to play and has several challenging holes. Five of the holes are a dogleg design that require a really good shot to put you in position to have a look at the green for your approach shot. You'll also find a nice clubhouse with competent, friendly staff.

Pretentious, obnoxious, and do you even know this is a desert?! Water wise practices would be great....
