Anasazi Steakhouse
Cook your own premium steaks and seafood on volcanic hot stones while enjoying craft cocktails and fondue.
About
The concept hits you the moment you walk in. Raw steaks arrive at your table alongside glowing volcanic stones heated to 750 degrees. You become the chef, searing each bite exactly how you want it. The interactive experience works surprisingly well, especially for groups who want to make dinner into an event.
The menu covers all the steakhouse classics plus seafood options, but the real draw is the hot stone cooking. Flatiron, ribeye, and filet mignon all get the volcanic treatment. If you prefer traditional preparation, the kitchen will handle that too. Swiss cheese fondue makes for a solid starter, and the chocolate fondue dessert (ask to mix milk and dark chocolate) caps things off nicely.
The atmosphere leans artsy with dim lighting and an upscale vibe that works for date nights or family celebrations. Servers know the drill and walk you through the hot stone process without making it feel gimmicky. The outdoor patio adds another dining option when weather cooperates.
Located in St. George, it's an easy dinner stop whether you're exploring Snow Canyon, heading to Zion, or just looking for something different from the usual chain restaurants. The experience factor makes it memorable, and the steaks deliver on quality. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends.

This is a classic St. George fancy restaurant. They add fun a fun flair to some good meat options like bison, elk, swordfish, and others. Cooking a steak on a hot rock can be tricky, but it added to the experience with the fondue. Overall atmosphere is great, but the food and service could be better. It's worth the experience to go once.

For what seemed like a high-end steakhouse. Or at least what the prices suggest. It was a bit underwhelming. The tables and other decor were a bit outdated. The table lamps did not work. The cords were wrapped around the table causing uncomfortable seating. I know its St. George and super hot outside (110deg+). But the cold air blowing right at the table cooled down the food to quickly. And made the experience rough. The food did have good tast/flavor. The mash potatoes were actually really good. Just got cold quickly. We were there for a Birthday dinner. The sparkler candles were a nice touch. The cheese cake was very delicious. Over all for a high-end steakhouse with the plates $40+. I was a bit disappointed in the atmosphere the most. The server and the food pretty good. Hope this helps. Cheers, Cal
