Off-road Hummer adventures and paranormal ghost tours through Utah's rugged backcountry

About

Hummer Off Road Tours specializes in two distinct adventure experiences that showcase different sides of southern Utah's dramatic landscape. Their signature off-road Hummer excursions take visitors deep into the red rock backcountry, navigating terrain that regular vehicles can't access. These guided tours reveal hidden canyons, ancient geological formations, and panoramic vistas that few travelers ever see.

The company also operates popular paranormal tours in the historic ghost town of Grafton, where guests explore abandoned buildings and hear tales of the Old West while using ghost-hunting equipment. These evening tours combine local history with supernatural investigation, offering a unique perspective on Utah's frontier past. Guides share stories of the town's former residents while participants use EMF detectors and recording devices to search for paranormal activity.

Located in Hurricane, the company serves as a convenient base for exploring the diverse attractions of southwestern Utah. Hurricane sits at the crossroads between several major destinations, making it an ideal starting point for adventures. Visitors staying in the area for Zion National Park often add these tours to experience a different side of the region, whether bouncing through slot canyons in a Hummer or hunting ghosts in a moonlit ghost town.

The combination of rugged off-road exploration and paranormal investigation offers something beyond the typical hiking and sightseeing activities. Both experiences provide guided access to places and stories that independent travelers would struggle to find on their own, adding variety to any southern Utah itinerary.

Loved every second!!! Corey & Shane made this such a fun trip. They were both extremely knowledgable about the area and were extremely attentive to how my husband and I were the entire excursion. We felt completely safe with Corey’s driving & expert handling of our vehicle. The views are simply amazing and Corey was so sweet to stop whenever asked so I could grab some photos. He was so enthusiastic and upbeat and an absolute hoot when describing what section of the road we were about to take, “it’s about to get chunky” when we hit a rough, rocky section. This was such a wonderful off road adventure and I would highly recommend!! You will get bounced, tossed about, and dusty….but that is exactly what we signed up for. You will also laugh out loud and feel the adrenaline pumping. Ladies, just a PSA…..if your girls are large, you definitely better wear that full support bra or a tight sports bra😉 😂

We enjoyed a great day!! Adam was a wonderful tour guide; knowledgeable, funny, and he made sure we all had a memorable ride. Adam checked on everyone throughout the trip to ensure we were safe and comfortable with the level of the trail. Highly recommend!

Adam was an exceptionally awesome guide. We had a great time with him on the Zion Overlook Hummer 1/2 day tour as he shared a lot of information with us about Zion & neighboring area. He is an excellent driver traversing the rocks with ease!! Thanks Adam for a great tour!! On the tour we found a rock face that looked like an Indian chief looking over the valley. We named him chief Adam.

Kory was an amazing guide! He took family pictures for us along the way and told us history from around the area. He was awesome with our kiddos too! Our 10 year old actually jumped off the waterfall because he did it first and that’s huge for her since she is terrified of heights! Our 4 year old keeps talking about his new best friend that brought him swimming and on the bumpy roads. The only thing that would have made it better was if the water was warmer cause then we all would have jumped in but this mama does not like to get too cold lol the plus side to that is we were told the tours later in the day the water is warmer so we may have to get back out there for a later times tour too! This is definitely an off road tour so get ready to have a fun, bumpy, off roading ride! 😁 if you don’t like being on bumpy roads and bouncing around this isn’t the right tour for you, but it is so worth it when you see all the views and waterfalls!!

Cory was absolutely amazing. He made the trip super fun and enjoyable. The views are so beautiful! Cory made it a point to make sure our two children had the best time and made them laugh. They are still talking about him and the tour, three days later. Thank you Cory for everything and making it such a memorable experience for our kids and us.
