About

WillowWind RV Park stands out for its mature shade trees and surprisingly affordable rates in Hurricane's competitive RV market. The spacious, level sites are all paved, making setup easier whether you're in a massive motorhome or pulling a travel trailer. Staff will actually guide you to your site in a golf cart and help direct your backing maneuvers (a nice touch that eliminates the usual arrival stress).

The log clubhouse serves as the social hub with a pool table, lending library, and cozy gathering spaces. There's also a gym and fire pit for evening hangouts. The park welcomes both RVs and tent campers, plus offers teepee rentals if you want to try something different. Dogs are welcome throughout the property.

You're right in Hurricane's heart, within walking distance of grocery stores and gas stations. The mature trees create genuine shade (rare in southern Utah RV parks), though expect some leaf cleanup in fall and winter. The bathrooms and showers stay spotless, and the overall vibe leans family-friendly and quiet.

Hurricane puts you about 20 minutes from Zion's main entrance, making this a solid base camp for park exploration. The combination of shade, space, and amenities at reasonable prices explains why guests consistently call it the nicest RV park in the area.

What a wonderful resort and staff. Everything was spotless and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our a/c went out the day we arrived and the staff were so helpful assisting us in every way possible. They recommended a mobile tech who was able to repair the a/c promptly so we could enjoy the rest of our stay and continue our vacation. We highly recommend WillowWind RV Resort and we will definitely stay here again if we visit this area in the future. Bill & Maryann, Lake Havasu, AZ

Willow Wind RV Park is a wonderful shaded place to call home even for a night or two. We stayed 7 nights and it was wonderful! The staff are one of a kind, the facilities are exceptionally maintained, and the shade is abundant. Not being from here and getting acclimated during the summer time this place has it all! Close to everything you need too. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone. Being as Hurricane, UT is OHV friendly, the space accommodated my 36ft 5th-wheel, long bed pickup, and full sized side by side with no problem.

We were on the hunt for a new place to camp due to the tragic fires in Pine Valley. We should have done more research but we thought we found the spot which was WillowWind RV Park. It is beautiful and well maintained but in the 1st 15 minutes we were warned about the grass at least 6 different times. A staff member escorted us to our spot to help us park because the owner wants to make sure no one touches the grass. The view we had was a block wall behind us and a trailer parked next to us. It was more congested in the park than our home in the city so not really getting away from anything. Between feeling like we had to walk on eggshells with our dogs and feeling like everything was on top of us we decided to leave. They had already charged us for 2 nights. After our trip I reached out to see if we could get at least a partial refund. Steve advised that though he understood they would not give us even a partial refund as we "chose' to forfeit our stay. I understand we made a reservation but it was not a great experience and we only stayed 1 hour. I felt the least they could have done was refunded the 2nd night but it was basically too bad. If you are looking to stay in a trailer park this is great but if you actually want to relax and enjoy some of the Utah beauty this is not the place. Just whatever you do, don't touch the grass!

Super friendly and an incredibly well-kept park. Lots of options for open air, shade, back-in, pull-thru. Immaculate laundry room, sweet little place to stroll with your dog, and well-located close to town, to St. George, and to the park(s). Less expensive than most nearby parks (many of which are just parking lots with pads). We travel full time and have stayed at hundreds of parks and campgrounds across the country. This one is in our top 3 for sure!

Stayed here as an overnight on our way home. Beautiful park, nice flat spots. Very quiet. Nearby gas station and fast food. Had a dog run in the shade to let our corgis off leash for a bit. Had a laundry room but we didn’t use it.
