The exterior of the vehicle was atrociously dirty. When I tried to clean the windshield there was no washer fluid. Returning the vehicle was very confusing and when I asked a Hertz employee what to they abruptly said “ park it wherever there’s an open space “ I had never rented a vehicle at this location and didn’t know the proper procedure. I thought Hertz was the gold standard in the rental car business, but my experience was far from my expectations.

Had a rental booked in advanced. Arrived within two hours of rental window and there was no one working at the counter even though it was also hours before their 530pm closing time. so was unable to pick up rental and it took over two hours to get a hold of customer service to cancel the booming. You can only contact via chat and cannot reach Hertz any other way than chat bots. Hertz is the worst customer service and this isnt my first time having issues.

Don’t ever rent from this hertz. My family rented a car from hertz and the employee left at 5 and hertz was “open” until 10pm and the sign said closed at 6:30. The rental company next door told us that they always leave early. Not only did this terrible experience inconvenience my family but another customer as well. Hertz do better. This cost us money and gas as the family members were delayed in their vacation

Honestly, I have never had a seamless experience with renting cars from other locations but I have to say that Joel at you St. George Airport location was INCREDIBLY helpful and efficient. I made an error in my own reservation and he was able to fix it on the spot and sent me on my way. He’s a pro!

My experience with Hertz in St. George was absolutely unacceptable, and I would strongly caution anyone before renting from this location. After calling 46 times trying to get help, the manager, Sam, finally spoke to me and was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was told that “it’s my fault for booking a last-minute car rental” and that if I didn’t speak to billing within 72 hours, I was essentially out of luck on getting my refund. He repeatedly talked over me on the phone, told me he didn’t care about my situation, and said his job was done because he had cancelled my booking. The only solution I was given was to call the billing number he provided. I have now spent a combined 7 hours on hold and still have not spoken to a single person in billing. Meanwhile, my family has been left stranded in St. George with a 2-year-old toddler, a 7-month-old baby, and 2 elderly family members, with no clear resolution and no immediate refund to help us recover from this situation. I understand issues can happen, but the way this situation was handled—in my experience—showed a complete lack of empathy, accountability, and customer service. Families in vulnerable situations deserve better. I would never rent from this location again based on my experience.
