Absolute disaster of an experience. Insanely rude staff. Had to give us a second car before we even left the lot because the first car was filthy with pet hair and a plastic fork in the door pocket. Second car just as filthy, dirt foot and hand prints everywhere, and reeked of weed. The miserable old porter gave my wife attitude after he made her point out the mess in the 1st car “well its a rental theres bound to be trash and food between the seats” and then finished with “well you dont have to drive it now.” There are not enough negative stars to give this trash bin. UPDATE: Their corporate customer service is a joke too. 3 different stories from 3 different agents. Don’t let this place ruin your trip

I used USAA to arrange a 2 week SUV rental from St. George Airport Budget. My flight was 3 hours late (after 630 pm) on Easter Sunday but someone was there and aware. The car (Chevy Trax) was great and clean. I drove from St. George to Zion, Bryce, and Escalante - including the first 5 miles of Hole in the Rock. The price was very good with the USAA discount (just over 500).

What an absolute joke? I booked a reservation for a rental car So I would have a car spend all over the country. The last two weeks I've been in Florida. I've been in Georgia. I've been in Phoenix. I've been in Las Vegas. Nobody's had a problem with my I. D whether I'm renting a car or flying through TSA no problems. I get here to budget, and their automated system can't seem to be able to scan my I. D properly, and so they left me high and dry. There's no other cars to rent here at the airport. And it's in a desert area where there's no buses or walking from the airport, it's literally 15 miles from the city. I went to enterprise, had them. Check my ID and if they actually had rental cars, they could rent to me. Budget has a car rented reserved in my name. But because of this I d situation, there's no other way around. It but me taking a taxi, absolute ridiculous

Beware of signing for the optional insurance. Budget stuck us for an additional $450 because they said I initialed for it at signin, even tho I had prepaid and original agreement specifically said I did not want it. I actually told the desk clerk I did not want it and asked if he needed to see proof of insurance as my personal insurance would cover me. His reply was, "no ma'am, if you wreck it, that's on you". And then they charged me anyway. The signin sheet is very misleading. Make sure you read the VERY fine print. The extra insurance cost me more than the car rental.

Didn't honor the online reservation. I was dropped off at the airport and when I went to pick up the vehicle I rented online, they said they would not honor the days I booked online and forced me to lower the days to get the vehicle. The price also ended up being more than it was online for the same period of time. Budget Support wouldn't do anything either. The worst customer service I have ever had with a rental car company.
