This place is a hidden gem! A historical, unique place to stay! I was lucky enough to reserve the Garden cabin #7 and it was just beautiful for my first time trip to Zion National park. The hosts are very nice and attentive if you have any questions. The rooms are clean and unique, in the heart of Springdale, close to shuttle stop 5 within walking distance to just about everything! Parking is limited but you are able to park for the nights you are staying. Beautiful property, no TVs in rooms which is not needed because you have an awesome scenery to take in! Community fridge and office was clean and welcoming. There is a clean jacuzzi for guests staying on property. They even offer a nice hearty breakfast at Oscar's cafe steps away! The garden cabin has a private entrance, comfy king size bed, nice walk-in shower, keurig coffee machine, separate towels for jacuzzi and bathroom. I definitely enjoyed my nights spent here and recommend staying here!
Delightful stay. Our room was cozy, comfortable and well equipped to all our needs. The host, Eric, was helpful in answering our questions. For the experience and amenities (hot tub, breakfast at Oscar’s, close to Zion NP), I consider this stay a great value.
Beware... Expedia and other sites give it an 8.6 Excellent. It's not!
If you enjoy youth hostels this is the place for you.
The room was extremely small — approximately 9' x 9' — with the sink located directly in the room itself. We couldn’t even open our suitcase without blocking the door.
The noise level was a big issue. The creaky floors made it difficult to sleep and we could hear the neighbors.
The toilet is located inside the shower. This was not at all clear from the photos or description. Apparently, it’s an “RV-style” setup, but as people unfamiliar with RVs, this came as a complete surprise.
There were also some impractical design details — for example, we had to place the coffee maker on the floor just to plug it in.
Also, the water and the ice they provide from the machine smells.
The best part of the stay was definitely location and the breakfast, although it was served at a nearby café rather than at the "B&B" itself.
We had an awesome stay at Under the Eaves! It was so adorable and clean and quaint and had absolutely everything we needed . It was so clean and comfortable and we were able to park in the parking lot before checking in so we could head out for a bike ride in the park. Located in the perfect central spot in Zion across the street from a store and right next to a wonderful restaurant. The courtyard was amazing!!! The views were spectacular! The owner was gracious and wonderful!!! There were generous amenities like fridge, microwave dishes etc in a little cute common space! This was a great trip for us from Boise and we will be back for sure!!!!
My husband and I decided on a last minute trip to Zion National Park. We booked Under the Eves for our stay. It is a charming and historical property in the heart of charming Springdale, UT. Our room was formerly an artists studio. It featured the most comfortable king bed, foam and feather pillows and two leather club chairs. There was a Kuerig in the room. A beautiful bathroom as well! We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after our days at Zion. Breakfast was served at Oscar’s Cafe, a one minute walk, and it was delicious! January was the PERFECT time to be in Springdale and Zion. We can’t wait to visit again.
