We have stayed at The Red Lion Hotel multiple times over the past decade. The consistent quality, friendly service, and attention to detail are what sets this hotel apart. There are also many amenities that contribute to a good stay. It’s clear that the team takes pride in creating a great experience for every guest. Olivia is amazing and helps make our stay enjoyable each time. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to many more visits in the future!

Location couldn’t be better! Right in the center of town. The lobby area is always clean and the front desk friendly and helpful. Amenities are fun and kept the kids and adults busy and entertained. The lobby area was a great place for us to gather and share a lunch together. We had a family reunion in town and were able to have enough room at the hotel for a family gathering in one of the conference rooms. The staff from Armando to Mindy and coordinator Olivia. Will def stay there again and recommend it to everyone I know.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. We arrived at the Red Lion in St. George with my 87-year-old mother, who has significant mobility issues. Instead of showing any compassion or concern, the front desk employee was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in customer service. We were told there were no ground-floor rooms available because the hotel was “booked.” Moments later, we were informed that there were ground-floor poolside rooms available—but only if we paid an additional $30 per room. It felt like the hotel saw an opportunity to make more money rather than help an elderly guest who genuinely needed easier access. It wasn’t just the extra charge that bothered me—it was the attitude. There was no empathy, no attempt to help, and certainly no kindness. We were treated as though our concern was an inconvenience instead of a legitimate need. Hospitality should mean treating people with respect, especially elderly guests. Unfortunately, that was completely absent during our check-in experience. I hope management takes this seriously and provides better customer service training. No family traveling with an elderly parent should be made to feel like compassion comes with an extra fee.

Every time I stay here, it's never a failure! The hotel is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make ever stay enjoyable. It's one of those places you can count on for a great experience every single time! A special thank you to Olivia Pedro for always providing outstanding customer service. She is incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about making guests feel welcome. Her positive attitude and willingness to help never goes unnoticed and always makes my stay much better!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place with amazing service and hospitality. Big shout out to Olivia again and the entire team for making every visit such a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back again!!!

Despite my better judgment, I ignored the bad reviews and was swayed by the positive ones I found. Don’t be like me. Listen to the negative reviews. Don’t stay here. This place is tired and needs a major overhaul. It’s old, dated, grimey, dingy, and dirty. I was counting down the hours until I left this place. I literally sprayed down my room with disinfectant spray because the closer I looked the more grossed out I got. The mini golf and outside courts are nice but it doesn’t make up for everything else. You can tell the pool area is not maintained regularly and it just looks dirty. Stayed in a poolside 2 queen suite on the first floor. Main building. No natural light unless you want everyone looking inside the room. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom. For one, you open it and bam there’s the toilet. Barely any room to step in. Then it was just nasty. One of the towels was stained. Stay at your own risk. Not sure how anyone gives this anything higher than a 2. If you’re willing to overlook lack of cleanliness and dated look of the hotel, then by all means stay here. I’m not one to sacrifice comforts and cleanliness because of cost and I regret staying here. Look at my photos. They speak for themselves.
