About

Perched dramatically on red rock cliffs above St. George, this boutique hotel transforms every morning into a private viewing gallery. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping vistas of southern Utah's canyon country, while private balconies let you soak it all in with your coffee. The rooms blend modern comfort with cozy touches—think clean lines, plush bedding, and those million-dollar views from every angle.

The breakfast service feels like a luxury hotel perk without the luxury hotel price. Each morning brings a thoughtfully curated bento box to your door: fresh parfait with local fruit, house-made muffins, and orange juice. It's simple but elevated, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring. The outdoor pool and hot tub provide the ideal wind-down after hiking, with those same stunning red rock views as your backdrop.

What sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Housekeeping is meticulous. Check-in is seamless. The staff genuinely cares about your stay. It's the kind of place that makes you want to extend your trip by a day just to enjoy the setting a bit longer.

St. George puts you perfectly positioned for Zion adventures (45 minutes to the park entrance) while offering its own attractions like Snow Canyon State Park and world-class golf courses. After a day in the desert, returning to your cliffside retreat feels like the perfect reward.

We absolutely love staying at Inn on the Cliff! The staff is always courteous, friendly, and welcoming every time we visit. The views are amazing, especially at night when you can see all the beautiful lights of St. George spread out below the hotel. The beds are very comfortable, and I bring my own pillow which makes for the perfect night’s sleep. We always feel safe staying here, and the hotel is consistently spotless and very well maintained. One of our favorite touches is the complimentary light breakfast delivered right to your door in the morning — such a thoughtful and special feature! We also really enjoy the restaurant, especially sitting outside overlooking the town or you could have the food delivered to your room. It makes the entire experience feel relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Room size was generous, but the furniture was sparce. There was room enough for a small love seat or other upholstered chair(s), but they were not added. Breakfast was to be brought to our room each morning at a time that we specified, and we did have them bring it the first morning, but did not wish to have it on the second day. The breakfast consisted of a yogurt parfait made on site with yogurt and berries. A very sweet cinnamon bun and two packaged (Kirkland?) hard boiled eggs. The doors to the rooms are accessed through exterior walkways, so essentially this is a motel. The location is out of the way at the top of a ridge amongst office sites and with some light industry nearby, and as such the location is quiet.

A+ in every category. If I could rate higher I would. This place was incredible. The room, the review, the service, the restaurant, the pool.....all amazing. We will stay there again in the future. Oh, And what hotel can you think of that brings amazing breakfast and coffee straight to the room in the morning? There were also a bunch of other unique ways of making customer feel special. I want to go back this weekend! If only....

You really are on top of a cliff and have amazing views overlooking St George. The room was nice, older AC unit but not a problem. The pool/hot tub open until 11 which was nice after a long day of hiking and the view at night overlooking the city is really great. Free breakfast was a nice treat, the warm cinnamon bun was excellent! If you are a light sleeper, ask to be on the 2nd floor so you don’t hear anyone above you as it woke me up. Also, bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in or need a dark room, curtains helped but it’s direct sun in the morning since it faces East

We had a wonderful quiet and relaxing stay here for our 35th wedding anniversary, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are clean, a bit small but nicely laid out. The views are great, the sunset is beautiful, and the breakfast is just amazing! Not one complaint. Everyone was genuinely nice and friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was superb! Not much within walking distance, but that makes it even nicer. Don’t let the outside of the inn fool you, it might not look like much from the outside but it’s a lovely little gem. Highly recommend the Inn on The Cliff.
