About

The villa-style suites here feel more like a mountain retreat than a typical hotel room. Each unit comes with a full kitchen, separate living area, and private patio overlooking the Virgin River and red rock cliffs. You'll wake up to those stunning Zion views right outside your window.

Resort Grounds and Amenities

The property sits on landscaped grounds with fire pits scattered around for evening conversations. The pool and hot tub area provides a perfect spot to unwind after hiking, with the sound of the river as your soundtrack. The complimentary shuttle service is a standout feature (most guests mention it specifically). Staff will drive you to restaurants, bike rentals, or anywhere else in Springdale you need to go.

Prime Location Near Zion

Location-wise, you're about as close to Zion's entrance as you can get while still having full resort amenities. The shuttle to the park entrance runs frequently, or it's an easy walk if you prefer. Carlos and the rest of the team get consistently high marks for going above and beyond, often surprising guests with room upgrades and personalized service.

Perfect for Families and Extended Stays

The kitchen setup makes this particularly appealing for families or longer stays. You can:

  • Prep your own trail snacks

  • Store leftovers from Springdale's restaurants

  • Cook breakfast before an early hike

The separate living areas give everyone space to spread out after a day in the park.

I would not stay at this hotel again. On the first night, our room’s bathroom was dirty and there were bugs in the bed. We went to the front desk to request another room, but the second room we were given still had other guests’ belongings in it, so we had to be moved a third time. This was very surprising given the hotel’s price point. We were also charged incorrectly at check-in, and at checkout there was an unexpected $77 added to our bill that had not been disclosed beforehand. This was frustrating and added to an already disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying on the bottom floor, as the noise from the room above was extremely loud and easy to hear. Overall, the rooms are not worth the price. You are primarily paying for the location and view, not the quality, cleanliness, or overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cliffrose Hilton in Springdale and would absolutely recommend it. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and what truly set this hotel apart was the complimentary shuttle service. Every morning and evening, the staff happily drove us to restaurants, bike rentals, and other spots around town, which made getting around effortless and stress-free. The room itself was comfortable. The beds were great and we slept well every night. While the room could have been a bit more spacious, this was more than made up for by the stunning views, which we enjoyed constantly. One of the highlights was relaxing in the hot tub in February — such a treat after a day of hiking in Zion national park. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the Five Petals Spa on the premices. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with excellent service and a beautiful setting. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.
