Location is truly unbeatable. You can definitely tell that this is an older hotel and is not the quality that I typically expect from a Curio Collection. The staff was great. We utilized the free shuttle to downtown Springdale that was super convenient and easy to use. Overall would stay again, but certainly not the nicest Hilton property I've stayed in.

Staying at Cliffrose Springdale was an incredible experience and one of the most memorable hotel stays of my July road trip. The hotel has such a charming, peaceful, and cozy atmosphere, with a beautiful setting right next to Zion National Park. The pool area was honestly one of my favorite parts of the stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub were right next to each other, surrounded by canyon views, and it felt like the perfect place to relax after exploring Zion. Being able to enjoy the pool outside until sunset, with that incredible canyon scenery all around, was truly one of the best moments of rest and relaxation from my trip. The hotel itself feels very elegant, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything about the property fits perfectly with the natural surroundings, and the location is extremely convenient if you’re visiting Zion. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Cliffrose Springdale. I would recommend this hotel not only for the location, but for the whole experience. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly placed for anyone visiting Zion National Park during a road trip.

The only reason this review isn’t one star is because the location is excellent. Being so close to Zion National Park is incredibly convenient, the grounds along the river are beautiful, and the front desk staff upon arrival were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell far short of expectations for a property charging over $400 per night. The room and common areas felt dated, there was a noticeable musty, damp smell throughout the property, and the overall experience lacked the polish expected at this price point. Our digital key didn’t work properly, housekeeping carts were frequently left blocking walkways, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable, and the pillows were among the flattest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. There were also no towels available at the pool or hot tubs during our stay, which left me wondering how this property continues to maintain a four star reputation. Instead towels are in your closet and as old as the national park itself. For my wife’s birthday, the hotel left a card in the room, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. However, they also left what appeared to be a random assortment of snacks consisting of a Kit Kat, granola bar, potato chips, and two bottles of water. With an on-site restaurant and rates exceeding $400 per night, a small dessert or other meaningful amenity would have felt much more appropriate. The gesture had good intentions behind it, but it ultimately reflected the overall experience: lacking the attention to detail expected from a hotel in this price range. What disappointed me most was the feeling that the property relies heavily on its prime location rather than delivering a premium guest experience. Zion is amazing, and the convenience of being next to the park is hard to beat. However, our stay at the Hampton Inn down the street cost roughly half as much and provided a noticeably better overall experience. For the price charged, I expected much more. I’ll come back if they renovate the rooms and housekeeping and maintenance improve.

We loved staying at the Cliffrose! We had a standard king that felt spacious and was very clean. The patio and the views from the room were fantastic. The added touches and hospitality from the staff to allow us to shower after our hike the day after check in was above and beyond! The complimentary laundry on site, campfires in the back, virgin river stream / mini beach behind and the pool were very appreciated amenities. Not to mention walking distance to many restaurants and most importantly, to the park entrance. We will 100% be back!!

Wonderful resort with such a good location in Springdale! Our room was spotless and very comfortable, we enjoyed our view of the pool and mountains beyond. The pool and hot tub area are well maintained, and it's a great place to lounge with a book. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was substantial and tasty (although not complimentary). The staff we encountered were all incredibly helpful and friendly.
