Sophisticated riverside retreat with lush gardens, warm pools, and complimentary shuttle service
About
The Cliffrose Springdale is a top choice for Zion National Park visitors. This Curio Collection hotel offers upscale comfort right along the Virgin River. As a Hilton property, it provides sophisticated amenities. Yet it keeps an intimate connection to Utah's stunning red rock landscape.
The modern rooms and suites include many thoughtful touches. River-view balconies let you soak in the scenery. Each room has a dry bar with a refrigerator and microwave. After hiking Zion's trails, you'll appreciate the comfortable furnishings. Recent renovations have improved both comfort and style. For example, spacious corner suites now feature dedicated lounging areas. These suites also have private decks perfect for morning coffee or evening stargazing.
The hotel grounds are truly special. Manicured gardens lead down to the Virgin River. Here, guests can cool their feet after hiking the Narrows. Or they can simply enjoy the peaceful water flow. Towering canyon walls create a dramatic backdrop. The outdoor pool and hot tub provide another great gathering spot. In the evenings, this area becomes magical when sunset light hits the surrounding cliffs. Additionally, fire pits throughout the property create cozy spaces. These are perfect for sharing stories about your daily adventures.
The Cliffrose experience stands out because of exceptional service. A free shuttle takes guests to local restaurants and the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. Therefore, you can leave your car behind and fully enjoy Springdale and Zion. The staff consistently goes above and beyond. They help with special requests and share valuable local insights.
The hotel sits within walking distance of Zion's main entrance. This location offers both easy access and peaceful surroundings. As a result, it's an ideal base camp for all your adventures. You can explore everything from Angels Landing to the Virgin River Narrows. Then return each evening to your peaceful riverside sanctuary.

Certainly not a four star hotel Small room and very tight bathroom

I would not stay at this hotel again. On the first night, our room’s bathroom was dirty and there were bugs in the bed. We went to the front desk to request another room, but the second room we were given still had other guests’ belongings in it, so we had to be moved a third time. This was very surprising given the hotel’s price point. We were also charged incorrectly at check-in, and at checkout there was an unexpected $77 added to our bill that had not been disclosed beforehand. This was frustrating and added to an already disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying on the bottom floor, as the noise from the room above was extremely loud and easy to hear. Overall, the rooms are not worth the price. You are primarily paying for the location and view, not the quality, cleanliness, or overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cliffrose Hilton in Springdale and would absolutely recommend it. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and what truly set this hotel apart was the complimentary shuttle service. Every morning and evening, the staff happily drove us to restaurants, bike rentals, and other spots around town, which made getting around effortless and stress-free. The room itself was comfortable. The beds were great and we slept well every night. While the room could have been a bit more spacious, this was more than made up for by the stunning views, which we enjoyed constantly. One of the highlights was relaxing in the hot tub in February — such a treat after a day of hiking in Zion national park. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the Five Petals Spa on the premices. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with excellent service and a beautiful setting. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return.
