About

Wild Thyme Bistro at Trees Ranch brings sophisticated farm-to-table dining to Springdale, offering a menu that blends American classics with Mediterranean influences. The restaurant's cowboy ribs have earned a devoted following among park visitors, while dishes like the Mediterranean salad and perfectly grilled ribeye showcase the kitchen's range. The death by chocolate dessert has become something of a local legend, drawing diners back even after they've left the area.

Set within Trees Ranch, the bistro provides a welcome respite after a day exploring Zion's trails. The location is particularly appealing for those staying in Springdale who want a special meal without venturing far from the park entrance. Some visitors have even biked down from Zion's scenic trails to enjoy dinner here, finding the journey well worth the effort for both the food and the ranch's beautiful surroundings.

The restaurant operates on a reservation system, which becomes especially important during peak season and holidays. While walk-ins are sometimes accommodated when space allows, planning ahead ensures a table at this popular Springdale dining spot. The combination of quality ingredients, creative preparations, and proximity to Zion National Park has made Wild Thyme a favorite among travelers seeking memorable meals during their southern Utah adventures.

It is a nice stop right of the highway. The signature dish pistachio chicken was very good. Portion size were good and the prices were reasonable. They have some unique dishes, be adventurous. Enjoyed it so much we stopped a second time.while.we were in the area. The deserts on the menu were all very tasty

This place is truly one of a kind they offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The experience you get here is very good as they have a good variety of craft cocktails and beverages. Being able to get an upscale level dining experience while being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Utah weather, paired with farm fresh food, is completely unmatched. The prices here are a little high as I had the salmon for around $32 but it is completely worth the price as the freshness and flavor of the dish is unmatched. Don't come here expecting a cheap experience as this restaurant sets the standards high so come ready to eat and have a great experience. The wait staff was very friendly as we threw them a huge curve ball as our family is very big an extensive. We had a party of 9 but on the website the max that we were able to book was 6. Upon arrival they were more than happy to get our huge party sat near each other on the inside of the restaurant. for large parties the auto gratuity was 20% which is a little above industry standard at 18% but for the experience the extra 2% is most definitely worth it. Next time we come back I will for sure be trying the Ribeye.

Drove an hour to sit under the trees and enjoy a meal. Hostess seemed indifferent. Had to sit in a section that hadn’t been cleaned well. Our server Ashley heard we wanted to sit under the trees at the tables and said yes let’s do it. She made amazing recommendations and we were not disappointed. Ribeye 14 oz was perfect with the smashed potatoes and asparagus Mediterranean salad was perfect. Green chili penne pasta was spot on. We didn’t indulge in the Mocktails but the list was inviting. Then to top it off with apple crisp we couldn’t have been happier. The ambiance was perfect. Enjoying the slight breeze rustling the leaves made it worth the drive. This farm to table restaurant will be on our regular route of places to bring friends and enjoy the beauty of Zion and surrounding beauty. It is a must visit.

Such a beautiful property and restaurant. A few minutes drive from the main area of Springdale. Large open views and lots of outdoor seating on the lawn and also next to the building under awning. I saw they had heaters under the roof for that area as well. Our waitress was lovely and our entrees were delicious. I got the pistachio chicken dish and my brothers got chef special Wagyu steak and another steak. My dad got the elk bacon wrapped meatloaf. Everything was high quality, fresh and so flavorful! We got the apple crisp for dessert and espresso/coffee. All great! Our waitress was so sweet. Please note the restroom is across the lawn not in the main building. So you get a quick little stroll/fresh air on your way there.

This is our first time ever leaving a restaurant and feeling the need to leave a review immediately. The drinks and the food were amazing! We couldn’t choose what to get so we split three entrees for the two of us, which were the angel hair pasta with shrimp, the bison cut, and salmon, and everything was perfection. We also highly recommend the carrot cake for dessert. We had Samantha as our waitress and she had a great sense of humor, service was so fast, and she was overall amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! This is a must try.
