About

This family-friendly RV resort sits along the Virgin River just outside the main tourist corridor, giving you easy Zion access without the crowds. The spacious gravel sites can handle big rigs, and you'll have room to spread out with your setup.

Kids love the playground area, and after a day of hiking, the seasonal pool and sauna hit the spot.

Facilities and Operations

The resort keeps things organized and clean. You'll find a well-stocked camp store, modern laundry facilities, and shower houses that actually stay tidy. The office stays open later than most campgrounds, so you're not scrambling to check in before 5 PM. Staff are helpful with extending stays and answering questions about the area.

Site Layout and Location

Sites split between gravel (for your RV) and grass sections, with a firm rule about keeping gear off the grass areas. It's an easy system once you know it.

River-side spots offer more peace and quiet, while sites closer to the main road catch some traffic noise. The location puts you about 15 minutes from Zion's main entrance, with optional shuttle service available for $15 per person (book the night before).

Why Stay Here

Virgin's quiet setting makes this a solid base camp for families who want resort amenities without paying Springdale prices. The combination of river views, clean facilities, and space for the kids to run around works well for multi-day Zion adventures.

We stayed at this RV park for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly, everything was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were great. We especially loved the swimming pool and the hot tub! There was also plenty of beautiful grass for our dog, which was a huge plus for us. 🐶 The on-site market was very convenient too. It is a little pricey compared to some other RV parks, but considering the level of service, cleanliness, and amenities, I think it’s worth it. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you! šŸ¤

The sites are well looked after, as soon as someone leaves the site is cleaned and ready for the next camper. The shop is well stocked and the ladies in the shop are super nice and helpful...open till 11pm! We enjoyed the pool after dinner, closes 9 pm sharp! Very convenient location, half hour to Zion and Springdale. Right on the Virgin River!!

The Zion River Resort was a great stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly and explained how to get around the park perfectly. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and they have nice amenities like a playground, a swimming pool, and it is very dog-friendly. The campsite shop is also pretty well-stocked with food items, camping necessities and souvenirs. A big plus for us was arriving just in time for the Easter egg hunt we didn’t even know was happening. The kids absolutely loved that. It’s a well-run place and we had a great time here.

Nice place to stay with RV. Still about 20-25 min away from the park so was a little back and forth with the RV each day. Had a river ā€œsiteā€ but it’s not really right on the river and kids couldn’t really go in due to algae warnings. Nicely paved, pool was good and had a board game room which was nice to cool off and enjoy some space and a board game.

Great RV park. Clean Campgrounds. Paved. Good amenities including pool, general store, and social hall (has coffee, sink, games, TV, a few tables). Only two small complaints. It was difficult to back our 30' trailer into the spot we had due to the roadways being a bit narrow. Would recommend a pull through if you have truck and trailer around that size. The public bathrooms all had showers which seems good until your kiddo needs to just pee and there isn't anyplace to go nearby the pool. Would still stay there again. They also had pickleball courts and an area by the river.
