About

Balcony One brings an unexpected culinary gem to the small town of Virgin. Mediterranean flavors blend seamlessly with American classics here. The restaurant has earned a devoted following among locals and travelers alike. Its diverse menu ranges from perfectly grilled steaks and tender ribs to authentic spanakopita and house-made hummus.

The kitchen's versatility shines through in every dish. Diners can opt for a traditional pork chop. Or they can venture into the flaky phyllo layers of Greek pastries. The combination plates offer an ideal way to sample multiple flavors. Meanwhile, the dessert menu provides a sweet finish that keeps guests planning their next visit. Balcony One uses quality ingredients and careful preparation. As a result, the restaurant consistently delivers meals that surprise and delight.

Located in Virgin, just minutes from Zion National Park's western entrance, the restaurant serves as an ideal dinner spot. Travelers staying in the area love it. Additionally, those seeking an alternative to Springdale's busier dining scene find refuge here. The moderately priced menu makes it accessible for families and groups. Furthermore, the warm service creates an atmosphere where guests feel genuinely welcomed. For visitors exploring Zion and the surrounding region, Balcony One offers something special. They discover flavors they might not expect to find in southern Utah's red rock country.

We had no idea what kind of restaurant this was but it was the only one our hotel recommended. We were looking for more of a casual & family friendly place, so we were a bit disappointed. Food was definitely more “gourmet” than we were looking for—and wasn’t our favorite… Not sure how to describe the atmosphere…but it was neither comfortable nor casual…

This place was fantastic. I would give them a 100 out of 5. Food was exceptional our server was so attentive, but not overly so. We had the salmon, chicken with avgolemono sauce, pork chops and penne bolognese. Everything was exceptional. You just wanted to savor every bite it was that good. For dessert they bring out a tray showing you what all the desserts are. We chose the dessert trio. It was some of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. I wish they were by my house as I would eat there every week. Also, the owner came by and asked how the food was. Nice touch. She was delightful. Just can’t say enough good things about this place and it wasn’t expensive.

Simply delicious! I never review restaurants, but as we left Zion, we drove out of town to get away from places that would have long waits and decided to stop here for dinner as we drove by. It was busy but we had no wait and our food was served fast. Everything we ordered was delicious. I wish I loved closer and could order the chicken and orzo dinner again. So good!
