About

This La Quinta offers solid chain hotel reliability with spacious rooms and bathrooms that give you room to spread out after long days of hiking. The free breakfast starts early at 6:30 AM with hot options like eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, plus waffles you can make yourself. Perfect fuel before heading out to the trails.

The outdoor pool provides a welcome cool-down during warmer months, and the 24-hour fitness center means you can stick to your routine regardless of your schedule. Pet owners will appreciate the dog-friendly policy without extra hassle. Tesla and other EV charging stations on-site handle the practical side if you're driving electric.

La Verkin sits about 30 minutes from Zion's main entrance, offering a more budget-conscious base than staying right in Springdale. You'll save on both room rates and parking fees while still maintaining easy access to the park. The location also puts you within reach of other southern Utah attractions if you're planning a broader regional trip.

The staff consistently gets praise for being helpful and friendly, and rooms stay clean and comfortable. It's the kind of place that does the basics well without any fuss, which is exactly what you want when you're more focused on the adventures waiting outside than the hotel amenities inside.

We had a great stay at this La Quinta Inn. The hotel felt very new (or at least exceptionally well maintained), and everything was extremely clean. Our room was comfortable, and the entire property was spotless. The complimentary breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the area. One thing we especially appreciated was the pool. It was actually nice and cold, which was a pleasant surprise considering temperatures were in the triple digits during our stay. It was incredibly refreshing after a long day in the heat. My only complaint is regarding the pet accommodations. The hotel advertises itself as dog-friendly and charges a fairly hefty pet fee for each dog, but there really isn't a designated relief area for them. In such a hot climate, I would have expected at least a small, shaded pet area with waste stations. Other than that, we had an excellent stay. It's a clean, comfortable hotel with a great breakfast, and I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of delicious food. The swimming pool was a fantastic bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. We would definitely stay here again!

4.5/5 stars Stayed here two nights to hike Zion and it was a great stop. Great breakfast with bananas/ apples and normal hotel fair. Good rooms and layout. No issues with noise. Great AC and gym. Bad: The hot tub was at best a Luke-warm tub, even in June. Coffee cups were super small.

We had a wonderful stay here during our road trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The room was very clean, and the hotel's location is ideal - just a 25-minute drive from Zion National Park, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A great base for anyone exploring the area - we would highly recommend it.

Decided to stay at this hotel partially based upon the reviews and the good room rate. Staff is pretty friendly at the front desk and knowledgeable on the surrounding area. There are plenty of restaurants and places to eat at near the hotel and a good selection. The room was pretty clean with the exception of the bathroom floor, which we found out because we couldn’t turn the showerhead in the floor got a little wet. It was very quiet and we had plenty of space in our room. Breakfast was good enough to get you started for the day there’s - eggs, a breakfast meat, muffins, breads for toast, bagels, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffee and teas. If you need to use the laundry, you may be better going offsite as it’s hit or miss as to if they are available. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
