About

This Hampton Inn delivers the reliable comfort you need after long days exploring southern Utah's red rock country. Clean, spacious rooms come with the expected amenities: microwave, mini-fridge, and blackout curtains that actually work (crucial for post-hike recovery sleep). The beds consistently earn praise from road-weary travelers.

The real draw here is what happens after you check in. The indoor pool and hot tub become your best friends after hiking Angels Landing or scrambling through slot canyons. There's also a fitness center if you're feeling ambitious, plus a snack shop for late-night munchies. The complimentary breakfast gets solid marks with plenty of options to fuel your next adventure.

Staff goes above and beyond when things go sideways. Travelers mention quick room service, helpful night clerks, and managers who actually solve problems instead of passing the buck. It's the kind of place that turns a bad travel day into just a minor hiccup.

Kanab puts you within striking distance of five national parks, making this an ideal base camp for a southern Utah road trip. Zion's about an hour away, and you're perfectly positioned for Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon's North Rim, Capitol Reef, and Arches. The location keeps you central to everything while offering modern amenities and that Hampton Inn reliability factor.

Nice hotel with great staff. Check in was quick, we had room 426 I believe. King bed, microwave, fridge TV, usual Hilton stuff. We asked for more pillows and a blanket, which was delivered very quickly. Room was clean, no dog smells (as this hotel is pet friendly) water pressure was so so as was the temperature. It wasn't bad just not enough for me. The AC/heat was great, not too noisy in either mode and the beds were super comfortable. Nice touch was we were leaving to go hike at 4am and the front desk offered to have breakfast to go bags for us. It was not fancy but it hit the spot when we were out and about. My only complaint was outside our room was a AC vent that was noisy. Given that, id choose another room.

Spent a week at the Hampton Inn Kanab with our grandchildren. Great location! Staff was wonderful! But there were several things they could improve upon. The pool area was nice but for the fact that there were only 3 chairs. So when we took our grands down to the pool, there was nowhere to sit to keep an eye on them. Standing wasn’t an option for us. Very disappointing. The kids looked forward to going to the pool after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was typical fare but always very good and a great way to get your day started quickly. Problem was they had one 4 slot toaster and the one side was broken. This lead to a long line. It was broken our entire stay. Could have been remedied by a quick trip to Walmart. And a shout out to Dolly, who worked the breakfast room every morning with a smile. She was adorable ❤️ I would stay there again if they get more pool chairs 😊

Great place to stay! Clean comfortable beds, clean rooms and hotel. Breakfast was spot on, Dolly keeps all food items stocked and everything is clean, she is a busy lady, you can tell she enjoys her job, always smiling and saying good morning to everyone. We have been to a lot of Hampton Inn’s over the years and haven’t seen an employee as engaged as she.

If you’re in Kanab, stay at the Hampton Inn! The hotel is comfortable and in a great part of town that’s easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Plus the staff here is so nice, especially Maddie (not sure I’m spelling her name correctly)! I realized after full day after checking out that I left a bandana in our room. I called and Maddie kindly went to the room, found it, and called me back. She went above and beyond for me. Most people wouldn’t care about an old, beat up bandana, but this one was sentimental to me and I’m so happy she found it. The hotel gets five stars, but Maddie gets a million stars!
