We were super pleased with this hotel. I was unsure of where to chose for visiting Zion National Park. It can be quite expensive around there. So we settled on this hotel based on location, amenities and reviews. We were very happy with our choice. The room was great, although the only complaint is only a little chair for sitting but this isn't a huge deal as we were not in the room much. The breakfast was great, even when busy it is still better than most others and I loved the three waffle making stations, as these can be busy spots. It started at 0600 and the breakfast lady was efficient although not the friendliest. The pool was large and warm, same as hot tub which is hard to find in hotels lately. I would 100% come back to this hotel. We couldn't have been happier.
Overall, it’s fine. It’s a lower end Marriott brand so everything was as expected. Shower didn’t drain, saw 1 spider in bathroom, kids pool fountain play accessories don’t actually work, on a packed Labor Day weekend, breakfast sitting area completely full, they should have had more breakfast staff because they kept running out of coffee and hot food and there was a line, and the woman said there’s only 2 people working. Front staff and room cleaners were very kind, great service.
Very nice proximity to Zion without the high prices of Springdale. About a 15 minute drive to the entrance. Halfway between Hurricane/La Verkin and Springdale. Also great to access the Kolob Terrace area of the park, as the access road is directly across from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is 6-10 daily, which is nice for those who want to catch an early shuttle in the summer in Zion. Rooms were clean and modern. Fitness room had a lovely view and a handy water bottle filler. We did not use the pool.
Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park was a great stay for our visit to the area. The rooms were pretty standard, clean, comfortable, and exactly what you’d expect, which is honestly a win when traveling.
The pool was great and ended up being a really nice bonus after a long day out exploring. The real standout, though, was the service. The staff was excellent, friendly, helpful, and made the stay feel easy.
Overall, it’s a solid place to stay near Zion, especially if you want dependable rooms, a great pool, and service that actually makes you glad you picked the place.
I travel quite a lot for years now, especially in the US and Canada. And first of all I want to say thank you very, very much to DESTINI from the front desk! She knows her stuff, is absolutely professional, also super friendly, she was 100% prepared and read my message in the Bonvoy-App, where I wrote down some wishes about my room. The room she chose for me exactly met my expectations and beyond. I am very happy to be a guest at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Virgin, Zion National Park.
About the hotel: It is very, very clean, perfectly managed, as a guest you feel very welcomed here. And there's one thing I almost never experienced in other hotels, especially in Europe: Even the windows were cleaned perfectly.
About the location: It really is breathtaking!
Thank you once again to Destini and all the other people who make this hotel the place to be. I immediately extended my stay.
