Amazing experience. The host was super attentive from booking and picking a tent all the way through our stay. The tent was very warm and cozy at night and in great location, especially for passing through some adventures nearby. The common area is large with plenty of space to store what you need. We cooked tasty meals each night. Showers were large and clean. And the outdoor space well equipped with tables and games. Can't beat the view from your tent as you fall asleep.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t your ordinary camping trip. The sweeping Southwest views were nothing short of breathtaking — the kind of landscape that makes you put your phone down and simply sit in the moment. Whether it was sunrise painting the red rocks or the stars blanketing the sky at night, the scenery alone was worth every penny. After long days of exploring, we returned to beds so comfortable we genuinely debated never leaving. The quality of sleep we got out in nature rivaled any hotel stay — a true luxury you don’t expect under the open sky. The camp amenities were thoughtfully curated with something for everyone in our group. Whether you wanted adventure or relaxation, there was no shortage of ways to enjoy your time. It struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. But what truly elevated the experience was our host, Stephanie. She was attentive, warm, and incredibly responsive — no request was too small and no question went unanswered. Having someone so genuinely invested in making your stay special is rare, and it made all the difference. If you’re looking for a glamping experience that delivers on every front — scenery, comfort, amenities, and hospitality — look no further. We’re already dreaming of our return trip.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time staying in this hidden gem right outside of Kanab for a quick trip to relax and unplug from the world. We were greeted and shown our perfect tent setup by Stephanie and the rest of the accommodations (bathrooms / showers, Kitchen, the outdoor area and then were left to relax at our own pace for the rest of the trip. It was so beautiful and quiet and we felt at peace and fully relaxed. Will definitely stay with them again if the opportunity arises!

I am coming down after an incredible girls weekend in southern Utah and couldn’t wait to write my review of BaseCamp 37! We were a group of 13 gals from Seattle and rented the entire property and had the absolute time of our lives. We worked with Stephanie and Amy over several months and they were so easy to communicate with and so kind and helpful. Whether you are traveling solo, with a partner, or with a group, make BaseCamp part of your Utah experience! It felt somewhere between the best campsite ever and a 5 star hotel. Stephanie, the host who lives on the property, was a true host. She made us feel so welcome, was quick to help get everyone set up in their tents and made sure everyone knew how to work the little stoves that heat them. She was quick to help again when a few of us couldn’t figure out the pilot light by ourselves. She brought fire starter over each night so we could easily get our fire going and even grabbed towels, and trash a couple of times just to be helpful. The communal space is very well stocked with 2 fridges, 2 sinks, and 2 stoves which made group meals SO easy. They had s’more supplies, cooking oils, spices, etc. The attention to detail they have put into BaseCamp is noticeable and felt throughout the entire property. From local art and photos framed all over, to guidebooks, to petrified wood and pottery scattered about, it felt like we were staying somewhere truly magical. The beds were so comfortable and each tent faces a slightly different direction so each has a unique view of the vast desert landscape. The communal spaces are so well thought out, lots of seating options and the patio gets such a nice breeze and it was a perfect space to unwind with a beer post hike! Our first night we had a visit from Rick and Gayle who run Star Party Tonight, a local night sky tour, and they came to BaseCamp with telescopes and a very fun and eccentric program about the cosmos. Day 2 we were up early for Bryce Canyon which is about 1.5 hours away but the drive is stunning and the crowds were minimal. Day 2 we drove 10 minutes from camp and did the Mansard Diverse trail which is a 5.5 mile round trip hike to some very cool petroglyphs. It was incredible to see something so ancient so close to camp. After that we had their neighbor and massage therapist come and do a sound bath at camp for us and that was also lovely, then we ended the night with a fire and lots of chat time! It was a true wellness retreat and we all kept coming back to the word “magic.” Stephanie and the BaseCamp owners have built a really special space in an area that is already so stunning and unique. Whether you are sharing BaseCamp with other travelers, or only your group, you’ll feel the magnetism! We could have stayed 10 days here and look forward to coming back. From the moment we walked in and saw the little “gift” they left me, to checking out and begin told “just take the trash out but that’s about it!” we felt so cared for and welcomed. Airbnbs for groups are feeling so expensive these days and the check-in process, cleaning requirements, fees can feel so surprising and impersonal. BaseCamp is the best parts of a hotel experience but feels more like a truly hosted thoughtful travel experience. The cost to rent this whole property was SO reasonable and booking, check-in, and host on property was the perfect amount of personal touch.

Our stay at BaseCamp 37 was amazing! Although we didn’t pick glamping for comfort, our stay here delivered it. Beds and tents were warm and cozy, yet enough room for three adults to have a little space. We found everything we needed at the main building and enjoyed meeting others in the common areas. Hosts were very responsive and gave us a personalized tour upon arrival. The night sky: that was indescribable! I have never seen so many beautiful stars. It was like we were sitting inside a star globe. So worth it!!!
