About

The Dwellings offers something different from typical hotel stays. These modern tiny homes perch along a cliff edge in La Verkin, giving you sweeping mountain views and complete privacy. Each unit comes with a full kitchen, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful design touches that make extended stays feel effortless.

Families love the flexibility here. You get your own standalone space with room to spread out, plus kitchenettes that make feeding everyone simple and budget-friendly. The grocery store sits just a minute away, and there's a coffee shop and pizza place right next door when you don't feel like cooking. Units range from cozy couples' retreats to larger spaces that sleep seven.

The location works perfectly for Zion exploration. You're about 25 minutes from the park entrance, far enough to escape the crowds but close enough for easy day trips. The drive itself is scenic, winding through red rock country that gives you a preview of what's ahead.

What sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Unlimited hot water, quality showers, and all the little amenities you didn't know you needed. Several units literally sit on the cliff edge (Unit 18 is called "The Edge" for good reason), offering dramatic views that change with the light throughout the day. It's the kind of place where families end up extending their stay rather than moving on to the next stop.

Omgeee absolutely enjoyed staying here! The view is captivating, especially the sunsets!! Ahhhmazing! Customer Service was so very friendly & the units are clean and comfortable. The Zion Hot Springs is right across the street, which is so convenient. The Dwellings is the perfect spot to stay when visiting Zion. I would definitely stay here again!

These homes were located exceptionally well. We went to go to the Zion Canyon hot springs and its across the street so we could habe drinks and walk home. There was also a small walking trail below the dwellings leading to a river that was so beautiful. Worth a quick look. The pictures were well taken in that they appeared much more spacious then they were in actuality. We had the one with 2 bedrooms. Which was 1 bedroom and a loft with 2 bunk beds. Luckily we had 4 instead of 6 as it would have been squishy with 6. The kitchen was well stocked in comparison to many homes we have stayed in. I was able to make lemon picatta with their supplies and its a pretty technical dish for traveling. The back yard was adorable and had nice seating to see the view. They had a cute outside kitchen area that was a prep table, a charcoal grill and a little mounted table with 2 chairs. Very tasteful. I believe this home would be handicap accessible because there is a bedroom on the first floor and no stairs in the entrance. Front office was very responsive to the one question we had, but the pool on site is like the funniest pool I have ever seen. Its like a 3 person pool and is tiny, but I imagine great if you have kids of swimming age.

We stayed here 3 nights while hiking around Zion and exploring areas around the park. There is a nice walking trail that leaves from the property and takes you down by the water where there was a bunch of wildlife like birds, and lizards. I highly recommend this place, really clean and taken care of. The beds were comfortable, nice shower, big tv. The best part of this place is the view from the back patio area. The sunset was beautiful and it's a great spot to sit and eat breakfast or take out food. The pizza place next door that you can walk to was also great for dinner. Plus the zion hot springs are right across the street so after hiking all day that was nice to be able to go over to and not have a far commute.

The Dwellings in La Verkin, Utah, just outside of Zion National Park, were such a great find. The location is perfect—close enough to the park for easy access, but far enough out to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, and the views surrounding it were absolutely beautiful—exactly what you hope for when staying near Zion. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and scenic place to stay near Zion, I would absolutely recommend The Dwellings.

We stayed two nights here during our travel to the national parks. The Incredible View room was nicely appointed and contemporary in construct. The kitchenette functions very well and fully stocked with silverware and dishes. The bed and linen good enough. And the bathroom was spacious and well lit. The water pressure was a bit challenging but I was surprised to find good quality towels and plenty of them as well. If anything for improvement I would suggest adding a dimmer in the soffit lights as they are very very bright. And maybe a small stand in the bathroom for laying out the makeup stuff. Service is a bit less than satisfactory. We didn't get housekeeping to clean the room and by the time we got back late afternoon it was too late. Apparently we were suppose to request service. We'll, if only we knew during checkin process. The owner was also visibly not happy that we didn't book directly (we booked through Citi travel portal paying the same price as direct booking) and it showed in his interaction with us. The location of the Dwellings is perfect. It is walking distance to the amazing River rock roasting. That is a buzzing and busy eatery with some good food. Its quiche was simply the best!!
