Everything was great. Best pistachio gelato we’ve ever had. Lemon gelato, macaroon, and chocolates all top notch.

Fresh-baked croissants and artisan coffee in a vibrant sidewalk café setting
Cafe Soleil brings a touch of European café culture to Springdale with its focus on expertly crafted coffee and fresh-baked pastries. The colorful, inviting space offers counter service and sidewalk seating where visitors can fuel up before hitting the trails or unwind after a day of adventure. Their croissants have earned particular acclaim, with many guests calling them the best they've ever had—buttery, flaky, and perfect alongside a well-balanced cup of coffee.
The café specializes in light breakfast and lunch fare, making it an ideal stop for those seeking a quick but quality meal. The sidewalk seating provides a pleasant spot to enjoy the morning air and plan the day's activities, whether that's tackling Angels Landing or exploring the Emerald Pools. The atmosphere strikes a balance between comfortable and efficient, catering to the needs of active travelers who want good food without a lengthy sit-down experience.
Located in Springdale, just outside Zion National Park's main entrance, Cafe Soleil serves the steady stream of hikers, climbers, and sightseers who pass through this gateway town. The café has undergone recent ownership changes, transitioning from the original Cafe Soleil to new management. While some longtime visitors note the difference, the spot continues to serve its essential role as a convenient coffee and pastry stop for park visitors.
For those with dietary restrictions, it's worth confirming ingredients and preparation methods with staff, as experiences with gluten-free and vegetarian options have been mixed. The café's strength lies in its traditional offerings—particularly those famous croissants and carefully prepared coffee drinks that provide the perfect start to a Zion adventure.

Hands down, the best croissant I've ever had! Paired with a perfect cup of coffee, it was the ideal breakfast before tackling Angels Landing. The buttery, flaky croissant gave me the energy I needed for the hike, and the coffee was the perfect balance to get me ready for the adventure ahead. A must-visit for anyone starting their day with a hike in mind!
