Wine tasting and charcuterie in a quaint, dog-friendly setting with a knowledgeable owner and standout local wines.
Bold and Delaney Winery sits just outside St. George in Dammeron Valley, a short drive from Snow Canyon State Park. It's the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately understand why locals keep coming back. The owners are hands-on winemakers who pour the tastings themselves, walking you through their lineup with genuine enthusiasm and knowledge. The atmosphere is intimate and personalized, the kind of space where you feel like you're visiting friends rather than a commercial operation.
The wine selection spans multiple styles, and reviewers consistently praise the quality across the board. You'll do a flight-based tasting, which gives you flexibility to try different combinations depending on your preferences.
Standout wines include:
Bourbon Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon (gets particular love from visitors)
Orange wine (worth seeking out if you want something unexpected)
Charcuterie boards pair perfectly with the wines, and they're generous enough to share. Small touches matter here: free water, complimentary chocolate, and genuine interest in making sure you're enjoying yourself.
The space is clean and welcoming, with wheelchair accessible entrance. Dogs are welcome, so if you're traveling with a four-legged friend, they can join the experience. It's a natural stop if you're spending time in the St. George area or returning from Snow Canyon, and it fits perfectly into a broader southern Utah wine and food itinerary. The whole vibe suggests Utah's wine heritage is alive and thriving, even if most travelers don't realize it exists.

Must do Saint George experience! It is just a 15 min drive from Snow Canyon (or about 25 from Saint George) and is great to see the revival of the wine industry here in Utah (that started in the late 1800s with the Mormon pioneers)! The Delanys are a power couple that were the wine markers as well as the ones curating the tasting. So educational

We stopped here on a whim after leaving Snow Canyon and I'm so glad we did. The wine tasting was fun and educational, and every wine we tried was great. We had four people and had 3 different flights among us which enabled us to try a wide variety. We got a charcuterie board, which was also fantastic. We had to deliberate over which bottles to buy, but ended up with two unique ones - Malvasia Bianca and Orange Muscat. Parking is at the end of the driveway, after a left turn indicated by signage. Accessible parking is available as well.

Amazing winery! Very nice and knowledgeable owner! It’s very clean inside. They give you lots of water and even little chocolate for free! Went there for a girls trip and had a great experience! I’ll be back with my husband next time, loved the wine selection! Especially the orange one is delicious! Thank you so much!!
